VooDoo growing and Sleeping in Portland Oregon
VooDoo has been delighting us with her puppy antics. She is growing like a weed, she takes a nap and then when she gets up she’s grown 1/2″ taller 🙂 Great Dane puppies grow at such a fast rate, they go from about a pound at birth to over 100 pounds at a year old. VooDoo plays hard and sleeps frequently. In order to sustain the growth they need to eat at least 3 times a day and do a lot of sleeping.
We’ve been using an xpen and a crate with VooDoo and she actually loves them both. I always give her treats when I put her in and so when she hears the treat jar she runs for teh xpen or the crate. She’s is a funny smart puppy. At 3 months we plan to start puppy obedience classes.
